Spring and pretty dresses go hand in hand, but this romantic, lavender dress (purchased from net-a-porter) is one of my favorites this season. I love everything about this dreamy, lace midi dress, especially its springtime-worthy hue. The dress is also available in several other colors as well, including light blue and cobalt. I am seriously tempted to pick it up in either (both?) of these too. Like I said, I really, REALLY love this pick!
The dress feels ballerina-esque and has a skirt that is fun to twirl in. Trust me, I gave it a spin or 2! Only the top of the skirt is lined, so you look demure while still revealing a little leg through the cut-outs in the lace. Full disclosure: my guy noticed this first and apparently very much appreciated that detail! 😉 It is simply impossible to feel anything but lovely wearing this dress.
For shoes, these metallic silver sandals added a little glam to my look. I chose a shoe with a reasonable 3.5 inch heel. This meant I enjoyed a romantic stroll, soaking up the amazing weather we have had in New York, minus the aching feet. The accessories are minimal – just pearl studs and my favorite strand of pearls. I also brought along a lightweight, ivory coat (also worn here), which kept me cozy after the sun went down.
I wore this for a fun date night at Lincoln Center, but it would be perfect for a springtime wedding too. Swoon!
